My Top 4 Favorite Restaurants

1. The Tawny Owl - Fernwood, Newark

Me and my fiance have been here quite a few times, it's actually where we had our first date. It's local, the food and service is great and it's cheap and cheerful. The perfect place to go if you want to go out but don't want to go anywhere too fancy. Would definitely recommend.

2. Chiquitos- Nottingham

This is a Mexican place that I've been to a few times with my parents and my brother. I always get the chicken fajitas and they are absolutely beautiful, this is a bit more expensive. I would say if there are 2 of you and you both get a starter, a main and a drink each it would cost around £40. I would 100% recommend, I also don't like really spicy food and the fajitas aren't spicy at all they just have a really lovely flavor. I'm hoping my fiance will treat me to a meal from here on our next date.

3. The Real Burger Co- Newark

I have been here once with Alex and his friends and it was amazing. The burgers were huge and really lovely. I love burgers and I would have to say that these are the best burgers I've ever had. The only downside to this is that you pay for chips separately, it's not like a normal pub/restaurant where chips are included in the meal. But I would definitely recommend this it's amazing food, great service and has a nice chilled out vibe to it.

4. The Mailbox- Lincoln

I pretty much lived in this pub for the entire time I was in college. This is a very nice chilled out place that I would recommend paying a visit to. It has a bit of everything on the menu and the food is very good. This is the kind of place I would recommend if you're out in Lincoln in the afternoon and you want to get some lunch but you don't want to get fast food, it's not very expensive and the service is very good.
