Tidy Space, Tidy Mind

Slightly random and short blog post today, enjoy.
I never realized how therapeutic organizing your space can be. I used to be quite a messy person when I was in school, which is probably why I could never find anything. But over the past couple of moths I’ve been slowly organizing my room a bit at a time and now it’s finally at a place where it doesn’t bother me anymore. It’s got to the point where if my room isn’t tidy and I try to go to sleep, my brain keeps saying “you haven’t cleaned today” and it keeps me awake. Does this happen to everyone or just me?
Anyway, going off topic here. The point that I’m trying to make is that my anxiety has calmed down so much more since I’ve been keeping my room tidy and I’ve been so much more positive as well. My grandma always used to say to me “if you have a tidy space you will have a tidy mind” I always thought she was talking rubbish but now I finally understand that being tidy and organized massively affects your life. It makes it stress free and relaxing.
